Prologue:
Legend

The Tenkai was cold and quiet. Nothing seemed to slow or make even the slightest bit of movement in the old palace. The trembling wind crept through the cracks in the crystalline surfaced floor, reflecting the young sun's passive glory to the shore-swept waters below.

As for the Z fighters, there lay a much more soveigned and dusty song. The death of May led many to question themselves, and even more so, questions of what was to happen now that the angel of death had returned to her place in the stars. Taurus and Lauren were the first to be affected. Their hearts grew tired and cold when they neared the Tenkai. Poor Lauren could no longer stand to be away from her mentor, and was driving herself to the brink of insanity with mournful tears, which lost themselves on her sheets every night. Taurus decided that in the interest of his daughter, they should leave and find greener pastures elsewhere. They packed up, and with one last sorry goodbye, one which came utterly from the very bowels of the soul, flew from the tip of the floating palace and disappeared into the wind. After them, came a great emptying of heaven. The birds stopped calling, the clouds stopped shining their iridescent hues over the lullaby-calm of the drooping sun, and everything became hush and still.

Some said it was the silence of May, and some said that it was dawning of a new era, but to Piccolo and the Namekseijins, it was nothing but another worry....another lost cause. Her grave had become buried and dusted over, and a small pile of decaying flowers blew away to the corners of the earth with every passing day. No one dared visit it anymore because of the heartbreak it caused. Even mentioning the place sent a shiver to ones spine, as if a lored daemon spoke a damning passage from some decrepit book of hell.

Not all hope was lost in all the confusion and loneliness. From the endeavor rose a sparking ball of hope, one that twisted and turned in all directions for nothing less than the world could imagine. The fighters grew stronger with every day, and knew that deep in their hearts, that was the way May would have wanted it. Her motives were many in likeness to Himegami's.. 'Self sacrifice is never too much to give, if you are to see one live on another day with a smile on their lips.' It was proven in the long run, that May had given the ultimate sacrifice: her very existence, even to the core of her soul, was returned to a divine hibernation in the brink's of solitude so that life could continue in the northern galaxy and every galaxy thereafter in peace and harmony.....

...May had given her life to save the souls of the remaining Angels of creation.

Through this gift of peace on earth, and no ill-will toward human, alien, or any entity which came from the Fire Goddess, life began a new leaf; a new chapter, if you will. People still went to jobs, ate dinner with the family, and even read bedtime stories to the little one's of the world. What had happened to society after the final downfall of unneeded death, was what May had been planning the entire time. A Rising Kingdom had overcome a falling Empire, and the rightful owners of which were now in perfect understanding of what was to happen: This new light was to be cultured not into war, hate, and grief, but understanding, compassion, and love. With only a Mere 2 months gone by, life had returned to what was perceived as normal. Mr. Satan was still the over-glorified mushroom he had always been, and was even beginning to plan for the next Fighting Tournament. Gokuu was busy eating his own bodyweight in food, and training both his sons, his niece, and his new daughter-in-law. Bulma was once again the shrewd, yet surprisingly happy-go-lucky woman and mother to Trunks. Kuririn and Juhatchigou (#18) were in a happy marriage with their little girl Pan, and her myriad of toys. The Namekseijins had returned to normal; There was the leader of earth, the 'bad-ass', the goofball, and the sleepy child who was being retaught the simple life that passed him by so many times before.

The only person that had dare show even the smallest amount of change was Daimaou Himegami. In the hub-bub of everyday life, she found herself filling not 2, but 3 peoples shoes. With Piccolo and Veggie constantly training themselves alone (and with other Z-fighters,) Lauren & Taurus who had moved in with Gokuu's family, and Popo stuck nurturing every thought that came to Dende's mind, she became the only one to look after the house and her child. She had given up much of her sparring for her son. All she wanted was for him to grow up in a family without a hurry-hurry mother and father figure. She didn't want to have her child grow up like her brother and herself had; alone and constantly afraid of everything. She wanted him to be able to have a designated 'mommy and daddy.' Soon, she began to claim the role of housewoman (which Piccolo would constantly poke at, by calling her 'supermom') and even changed her attire from the fighting Gi, to a dark navy, free flowing Dress.(It still had the red sash, and the same material as before, but had seemed to tone down from her "macho me" attire which she had worn day-in and day-out for years.) To finish off the number, was a simple weightless cape, which was curled around her shoulders, and the traditional namekseijin shoes which were worn by all of them, including Piccolo and Dende.

Now, with the coming end of spring, Everyone was on their way for the new summer and relaxation time. Himegami had began to work more fighting into her schedule, and although tried hard, was finding it a little hard to catch up to Gokuu and the others. Nevertheless, she still tried hard, and still managed to keep the house in order. It wasn't until just a couple days, did things seem to unravel.
